The FiltreX Dressing is an exercise in electrostatic innovation. Aerospace grade fiitration material is fused via a proprietary sonic weld process to create a layered final material capable of filtering over 99.9% of particulates down to 0.1 micron, all the while repelling water with over 99% efficacy1. This felt is also highly durable, breathable, and low friction, making it suitable for transfers when used as a surgical dressing. Combined with a gentle, yet powerful adhesive originally employed in medical grade hairpieces, it may be the perfect dressing for your wound and post-surgical needs. The FiltreX proprietary felt can be made in multiple thicknesses, patterns, sizes, and impregnated with carbon to reduce odor. Sponges can be affixed to the felt, as well as saturated or impregnated with antimicrobials. In mask form, FiltreX felt qualifies for submission to FDA as an N99 respirator, and has passed NIOSH level particulate testing for this grade of filtration.
